HOW DO I BOOK TICKETS?
You can book tickets to any performance with availability directly on The Old Red Lion Theatre's website.
Please note the venue seating is limited to 45, for the intimacy of the performance and safety requirements of the venue. As such, if a show is sold out, there may be very limited tickets available at the theater, or on a waitlist.
HOW LONG IS THE PERFORMANCE?
IVORIES runs 90 minutes with no interval.
WHEN IS THE FIRST PERFORMANCE?
Opening night of IVORIES will be on 1 July.
IS THERE CONTENT I SHOULD BE WARNED ABOUT?
IVORIES is a horror play, and has themes that may be frightening and unsettling to some. In addition to a haunting and dread-infused atmosphere, there are depictions of blood and gore, and discussions of child abuse, animal abuse, misogyny, and homophobia. There will be loud and sudden sounds. You will be in extremely close proximity with performers. There is strong language within the play.
IS THE SHOW RATED? WHO CAN ATTEND?
IVORIES would be acceptable for mature teenagers, so we would recommend ages 14 and older. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
I SAW A PREVIOUS PRODUCTION, IS THIS A TRANSFER OF THAT?
This production of IVORIES is a BRAND-NEW production, with a new, never-before-staged version of the script by Riley Elton McCarthy, new design, a new company, and brand-new direction by Georgie Rankcom. While it may bear similarities to previous productions of IVORIES by that nature, this is a wholly new experience of the story. If this isn't your first time seeing IVORIES, you will be in for a treat and new surprises with this production.

ARE THERE SCHEDULED ABSENCES FOR PERFORMERS?
As of right now, there are no planned absences for the company. The principal cast is scheduled to go on at every performance, barring illness or injury.
WHAT IS THE ACCESSIBILITY OF THE THEATRE?
If you are registered disabled and require an essential companion in order to visit the theatre then we will provide your companion with a complimentary ticket. The theatre is located on the first floor above the Old Red Lion Pub and access is gained through the pub and up a staircase with two 90o bends. As a listed building we unfortunately have limited mobility access – so please do contact us in advance of your visit with access requirements on info@oldredliontheatre.co.uk and we will offer as much support as possible.
CAN I PURCHASE THE SCRIPT ANYWHERE?
Yes. IVORIES is licensed by NextStage Press and published scripts are available through their website, and in bookstores across America.
