Riley Elton McCarthy is an internationally acclaimed performer and playwright. This will be Riley's fifth time performing the role of Sloane in a production of IVORIES. Other credits include FROG DINNER (The Frogs, Edinburgh Horror Festival & The Tank), THE LESBIAN PLAY (Cynthia, Marymount Manhattan College), SOUTHERN BEDFELLOWS (Haywood, International World Pride Festival in Copenhagen) and dozens of performances in readings of new work around New York City and Copenhagen. They received their BFA in Acting and Playwriting at Marymount Manhattan College, and are pursuing an MFA in Musical Theater Writing at New York University. They are a member of Actor's Equity Association.​

Playwright
"The the most original voice in horror since Mike Flanagan” (The Scotsman), Riley Elton McCarthy is an Offies-nominated and two-time Eugene O’Neill Semi-finalist, internationally produced Danish-Irish playwright in New England. Known for their provocative queer horror plays, Riley’s work has been seen and developed in New York at Ensemble Studio Theatre, 59E59, The Tank, The Triad Theater, Yale School for Drama, and The Brick. Riley’s work has been a finalist twice for Juilliard, a semi-finalist for the Dramatists Guild Fellowship, a two-time SheNYCArts semi-finalist, and was a resident playwright with Art House Productions, Workshop Theater, and the International World Pride Festival in Copenhagen. Riley’s published plays can be purchased through NextStage Press. UPCOMING: the world premiere of “Daxton on the Night Shift at 7/11” at New York University in May, a staged reading of an untitled new play at AMPD/The Vino in May, and the world premiere of “PRINCEOFPRINCEOFPRINCEOF” in a venue to be announced this coming autumn. Riley is currently pursuing their Master’s in Musical Theatre Writing at New York University.

Georgie Rankcom is the Artistic Director of The Grey Area Theatre Company, where she will soon be directing Kevin McHale (Glee) in Sondheim’s ‘The Frogs’. Previous work includes ‘When We Strike’, ‘Before After’, ‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying’, ‘Anyone Can Whistle’ and ‘You Are Here’ (Southwark Playhouse), ‘Help! We Are Still Alive!’ (Seven Dials Playhouse), ‘Perfectly Ordinary’ (Hope Mill Theatre). Associate Directing work includes ‘Fly More Than You Fall’ (Southwark Elephant), ‘The Sex Party’ (Menier Chocolate Factory), ‘Salad Days’ (UK Tour)
